Frequently asked questions

Don’t see yours? Call us at (727) 367-7144.

How do we book?

Pick an activity and a date and book online. Your confirmation comes by email right away, followed by a second email with digital waivers, which everyone needs to finish before heading out. You can still call us at 727-367-7144.

Where do we meet?

Most activities start right on the beach behind Sirata Beach Resort (5300 Gulf Blvd), The Luce (6300 Gulf Blvd) or Dolphin Beach Resort (4900 Gulf Blvd); pick the spot closest to you when you book. WaveRunners go out from behind Sirata. Not staying nearby? Parasailing and the sunset cruise also pick up at Shrimpy's Dock, 9540 Blind Pass Rd, where parking is free.

When should we arrive?

Thirty minutes before your time for boat tours and parasailing, and 20 minutes before for WaveRunners, paddleboards and the banana boat. The boat can't come back for late guests, so leave time to park and find us on the beach.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund; within 24 hours there's no refund. If we cancel for weather, you get a full refund or a new date. No-shows and late arrivals are charged in full, and Florida resident tickets are non-refundable.

Do you run every day?

Rentals and cabanas run every day. Parasailing, the banana boat and the Sand Dollar Island cruises run fewer days in the fall, Wednesday to Sunday from November to mid-December, and every day over the holiday weeks. Pick a date when you book to see what's running.

Do we need a license to drive a WaveRunner?

Anyone born after January 1, 1988 needs a Florida boater's license, and you can take the temporary rental test online before you come. Drivers also need a photo ID and a credit card. It's 18+ to drive solo, 15+ to drive with a parent or guardian, and 5+ to ride along.

How high and how long do you parasail?

About 300 feet, for about 10 minutes. Plan on 45 to 75 minutes on the boat, depending on how many are flying. Up to three can fly together, up to 500 lb combined, at the captain's discretion.

What should we bring on the boat tours?

A bathing suit and a towel or layers for the weather. You board by the bow ladder and may step into knee- to thigh-deep water, so pack loose things in a backpack to keep both hands free.

Is there a bar on the boat?

Yes. The boat has a restroom and a bar with water, soda, Gatorade, snacks, beer, wine and mixed drinks for purchase. Cash and cards are both fine, and tips for the crew are customary.

Do you offer discounts?

Florida residents save $5 a person on parasailing, the banana boat and the Sand Dollar Island cruises with a valid Florida ID, 10:30am early-bird parasail flights are $85, and we offer military discounts with a government ID.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes. Buy one online from Gift cards at the bottom of any page. Gift card sales are final.
