Parasailing
Soar about 300 feet above St. Pete Beach for about 10 minutes, up to three of you at once. Anyone who'd rather watch can ride along in the boat.

Parasail about 300 feet above the Gulf of Mexico, with a bird's-eye view of St. Pete Beach's white sand and the water below. Each flight lasts about 10 minutes, and you're out on the parasail boat for 45 to 75 minutes in all, depending on how many are flying.
Up to three can fly together, up to 500 lb combined, at the captain's discretion; the minimum weight is up to the captain too. Not everyone in your group has to go up: riders who'd rather stay in the boat can come along and watch, space permitting. Add the photo package, $40 for your whole group, and the crew photographs your flight.
The Water Sports Industry Association named Suncoast its Parasail Operator of the Year for safety and service. Every flight starts with a detailed briefing, weather limits are followed strictly, and each trip is closely supervised. Flyers board at Shrimpy's Dock on Blind Pass Road, where parking is free, and the boat picks up right on the beach too. It takes moderate physical ability, and beach clothes are best: you may get wet.
