Banana Boat Ride

Fifteen minutes on the inflatable banana, towed behind a WaveRunner along St. Pete Beach. Mild or wild, depending on who's on board.

Banana bus full of riders
  • Banana boat mom and daughter
  • Waverunners towing the bananas

Climb aboard the banana and hold on. A WaveRunner tows you along St. Pete Beach, bouncing across the Gulf waves, and if you hit one just right, somebody's going in.

Will you get wet? Yes. Will you fall off? Maybe: our captains tailor every ride to the people on board, so it can be as mild or as wild as your group wants. It's perfect for groups of friends or families with kids, with two to six riders per ride.

Rides start on the beach behind Sirata Beach Resort, The Luce and Dolphin Beach Resort; pick the one closest to you when you book. Wear your swimsuit and arrive 20 minutes early: late parties lose their ride with no refund.

What’s included

  • A U.S.C.G.-licensed captain on the WaveRunner
  • Up to 6 riders per ride
  • A ride tailored to your group
